My answer to Curcumin has anti-amyloid properties. Verapamil opens the BBB. Can we try both to prevent Alzheimer?
Answer by Connie b. Dellobuono:
Only doctors can prescribe meds and there are side effects in meds that one cannot control and unique per person. Seniors have weak liver and kidneys. Caution should be taken when using verapamil with a beta blocker due to the risk of severe bradycardia.
Nurture, exercise with sunshine, music, whole foods from greens and sulfur rich foods (garlic, onions), probiotic, digestive enzymes, turmeric and other foods/herbs (rosemary, thyme, cilantro) can be nourishing and are essential to slow Alzheimers disease.
