Lessons learned from world’s leading food experts

Over the course of a week, bestselling author John Robbins is interviewing 24 of the world’s leading food experts – and broadcasting these interviews for free. I’ve been listening to the first few days of interviews, and I have to say – they are really incredible.

In case you’ve missed the first few days – I want to share some of what we’ve heard so far.

Dr. Michael Greger shared that in the US, 70% of adults aged 70 or older have high blood pressure. But did you know that a healthy diet is often more powerful than drugs in lowering blood pressure and fighting diabetes? And, that it’s also been proven that a healthy diet can help to prevent Alzheimer’s?

Healthy food really is medicine.

We also heard Kris Carr’s incredible story of surviving (and thriving!) with cancer, and Dan Buettner’s powerful experiences studying the world’s healthiest and longest-lived people in the “blue zones.” And Dr. Vandana Shiva told us why GMOs are linked to more than 200,000 farmer suicides in India and how you can stand up for healthy and safe food for everyone.

We heard from former American College of Cardiology President, Dr. Kim Williams, on how we could put 85% of all cardiologists out of business – with healthy food!

We heard from Dr. David Perlmutter on the stunning new science of gut health. And, we heard from Dr. Robert Lustig; former US Surgeon General, Dr. David Satcher; and Dr. Susan Peirce Thompson, who talks about how we can end the obesity epidemic forever.
