$619. That’s how much health care premiums will increase per year for many low-income families right here in California if the Republicans’ health care bill passes the Senate.
For Senators on a six-figure salary, $619 may not seem like a lot, but to many Americans, that can be the difference between putting food on the table and taking their child to the doctor if they’re sick.
The Republican bill is not a solution. It’s a tax-break for the wealthy disguised as health care legislation and we have to do everything in our power to prevent it from becoming a reality.
Can you add your name to stand strong against Republicans’ health care repeal bill?
Your activism is working, Connie.
Over the weekend, we heard reports that Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans are losing faith that they can get this bill passed.
That’s because people across the country are speaking out to their representatives about how horrible this legislation would be for their communities.
Right now is not the time to let up. We need to be as vocal and defiant as possible heading into this week.
Tell the Senate Republicans that you’re against this bill and urge them to vote “NO” >>
Thanks,
Scott Peters
