Free Argentine Tango lessons to people with Parkinson Disease

FREE to people with Parkinson Disease and their families.

Wednesday afternoons (2:15 pm to 3:45pm)
Supported by the American Parkinson Disease Association, this class—for people with Parkinson and their families—teaches Argentine Tango as an exercise for improving movement and balance. Through musicality and movement of Tango patterns, you learn to become more aware of your center of balance and body movement while enjoying the dance.

Students must be able to walk onto the dance floor to join the class. No previous experience in Tango or other dance is necessary. No partner necessary. Walk-ins welcome. For information call (650) 721-8500.

Instructors are DVIDA-certified and experienced tango dancers.
