Jayshree will work together with you to understand your health in relation to your values, priorities, life goals, attitude, emotions, body, mind, spirituality, relationships, friendships, community, occupation, avocations, housing, economics, and whatever else you can think of together. She draws upon her fund of knowledge and experience in Western medical and Eastern healing traditions, and remains open to discussing therapeutic modalities you’d like to explore. She does her best to help you build your health assets and strives to make that journey as enjoyable and satisfying as possible.
To stay healthy and happy, Jayshree meditates daily, practices yoga, dances, plays the tablas, reads and writes poetry and fiction, enjoys films with subtitles, loves swimming and sailing, is partial to home cooked food, and prioritizes time with family and friends. She prefers to walk or bicycle to get around town and has fun talking with people on public transportation. She earned her medical degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison before completing her residency at the University of California San Francisco/San Francisco General Hospital. She is board-certified in family and community medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, as well as in occupational and environmental medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine.
