Chef Mary Hathaway started Dinner Diva Personal Chef Service in 2002 when she turned her love of cooking into a business with the help of a member-driven chef’s organization, United States Personal Chef Association. It was here where she learned the skills needed to take her passion into people’s homes literally- cooking for busy families, traveling professionals/executives, health and diet-conscience individuals/families and those interested in a one-time dinner party or special event celebration.

Today, Chef Mary has clients all over the San Francisco Bay Area and works outside of the immediate area for traveling clients when her schedule permits. She frequently works with other local chefs when needed for larger parties.

In 2012 Chef Mary started a Food Blog, From The Dinner Diva’s Kitchen, where she shares some of her favorite recipes, offers chef’s tips and with the help of her husband/amateur food photographer, always shares photos of the food she is preparing either for herself or her clients on a weekly basis.

Mary says being able to do what you love hardly feels like work.
