- Bone marrow from beef and chicken (whole,wild) help in making new blood and other immune boosting benefits when cooked with sulfur-rich herbs such as ginger, garlic, onions, celery and carrots.
- Create a fish stock with white wine and water, boiled for few hours and frozen or refrigerated for 5 days. Always add ginger in fish and chicken to have a flavorful aroma and ginger is good for circulation.
- Add herbs before serving and after reheating: thyme, oregano, parsely, cilantro, lime, mint, bay leaves
Sample recipes with sea salt, garlic, onions
- Fish soup: tomatoes, onions, ginger, sea salt, garlic, water, fish and greens. Combine in a pot these mixtures in the same order. This recipe is from my grandma and she serves this big pot to rice farmers and neighbors.
- Potato and onion gratin: Use bone broth, yellow/gold potatoes, yellow onions, butter, heavy cream, parsely, sea salt, thyme, and your favorite cheese. Slice both potatoes and onions thinly. Bake
- Roasted tomato and fennel soup: sour cream, roma tomatoes peeled and cut, bone broth, yellow onins, fennel, olive oil
- Creamed carrot and leek soup: thyme, carrots, butter, leek thinly sliced, sea salt, vegetable broth, coconut milk
- Irish vegetables and leek soup: Bone broth, thinly sliced leek, butter (Kerrigold), potatoes peeled and chopped, parsnips, celery, carrots
- Roasted beet soup with dill and horseradish sour cream: red beets, beef bone broth, whole black peppercorns, bay leaf, butter, shallots, celery, sea salt, black pepper, sour cream, grated horseradish, minced fresh dill
- Roasted mushrooms with dried berries (cranberries, blueberries, rye berries): berries, apple cider vinegar, mushrooms (stems removed), shallots, butter, celery, sea salt, thyme
- Fresh pea soup with herbs: frozen shelled peas, butter, leek, sea salt, vegetable broth, chopped mint for garnish, chives, cream (coconut milk or heavy cream)
- Roasted allium soap with fried leeks: yellow onions, shallots, garlic, leek, chicken bone broth, olive oil, sea salt, butter
- Miso-glazed bokchoy: Dashi, white miso paste, Braggs soy sauce, ginger, sesame oil, bokchoy, sesame seeds
- Creamed zucchini and celery broth: chopped zucchini, chopped green beans, chopped celery, garnish with parsley
- Japanese hot pot with miso, clams, mushrooms and leek: chopped spinach, sliced shitake mushrooms, white miso, Dashi, leek, clams, black sesame seeds
- Simple Miso soup: 4 cups Dashi (fresh shrimp liquid or soup; crushed shrimp skin, pour warm water), wakame flakes, 2 TB white miso paste, green onions
