My daughter spent quality time with her GF who is on anti-anxiety meds.
My daughter said:
“Mom, I saved a life. She is feeling less motivated and depressed and she is taking anti-anxiety meds because she could not pass the driving test. So I made her happy by spending time with her. Laughing and crying we did. When I dropped her off to her house, I asked her is she is happy now and she said yes. She only has me and her brothers. Wish she could make more friends.”
It is sad that many families choose meds over other holistic healing ways to motivate and help their young adult children from the daily challenges in life.
