CNN Legal Analyst Jeffrey Toobin went off on House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz after he repeatedly insisted on CNN earlier that he’s not going to be investigating President Trump‘s conflicts of interest or tax returns at this point.

Wolf Blitzer grilled Chaffetz for over ten minutes on why he’s not investigating when there are multiple concerns about Trump’s conflicts and whether he’s continuing to profit from his position as the president. Chaffetz said he doesn’t want to get into a “fishing expedition” just because Democrats think he should.

Blitzer brought that interview up later in the hour and recalled Chaffetz’s answer about how it wouldn’t be appropriate to subpoena Trump’s tax returns.

Toobin had this to say in response:

Do you think there were enough investigations of Benghazi by the Republican House?… Jason Chaffetz is only interested in investigating Democrats. Period. That’s the reason why Jason Chaffetz is in Congress, which is to investigate Democrats. He has no interest in making trouble for Donald Trump and he’s not going to make trouble for Donald Trump.
