My experience working as nutritionist in a women’s health clinic

I worked as a nutritionist with two OB/GYN doctors who performed hysterectomies (surgical removal of ovaries and uterus) near O’Connor Hospital in San Jose many years ago.

I got a copy of laboratory results of the patient from fecal, urine, blood and allergy tests.  I then summarized health data and identified needed minerals, vitamins, whole foods, lifestyle and other health ways that can help patients with reproductive health issues.

I gave nutrition consult with the patient for an hour. I interviewed the patient to ask for her sleep patterns, diet, and other lifestyle/health issues.

In the end, I gave them my listening ears and emotional support to help them through the changes in their body.
