There are many happy, hard working and educated people in the Philippines.

Over population is a result of poor family planning.

Health among the elderly is not good as the family size becomes bigger and income is decreasing.

Unemployment is due to lack of investments in new sectors from both internal and external sources.  Education should focus on important global skills such as computers and focus on integrating skills in few years (India has MS+BS in one in 3 years school time), allowing internships every 4months and 4 months of school time (just like Canada).  Cost of education is high. There are no student loans.
