Fluradix, liquid iron from Whole Foods is a much safer iron supplement and should be taken in the morning to prevent cancelling out calcium and magnesium absorption, prevent constipation and safe for the heart muscles. Foods rich in iron are molasses, liver, raisins and dark chocolates. Iron prevents heavy bleeding and fainting (aids in oxygenation of our cells). Some of my clients with PD and AD (mental health issues) are anemic.
