My answer to Why is pregnancy so hard?
Answer by Connie b. Dellobuono:
It is a labor that you allow to push what is inside into the world and ready to nurture the new being that is so dependent on you for life.
As your body is contracting and expelling the baby, muscles get tight and cramps and then a short sharp pain like a knife or a big piece of rock trying to get our of your body.
For me, breastfeeding is the hardest.
Younger women have easier stretching of skin and less or no tear.
Depending on your birthing position, health and exercise during pregnancy and presence of support group such as your doctor or midwife, your labor is unique to you.
Follow the flow of your body and listen to its cues, deep breaths in between to get you energy for the labor.
