Many seniors have to downsize by selling their homes and moving to a senior living community with access to a health concierge.

It costs more than $6000 per month in a luxury senior apartment or senior living community but only costs $4000 for a room, health concierge and food in a house with 4 bedrooms.

There are over 20 homes for rent in Silicon Valley ranging from $6000 to $15000 per month with 3 to 8 bedrooms (Cupertino, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Los Altos and Redwood City). It costs more than $5000 for a senior to stay in one room in a care home licensed facility of 6 clients with 2 caregivers.  Some of the clients are non ambulatory and some are hospice.

There is another option, to stay in a room in a house with 3 other seniors who are ambulatory. Free health concierge, lodging and food but you have to hire your own personal caregiver hourly or live-in if you need one in the future.
