My brother had heart attacks, 3x, and chemical toxins together with smoking and drinking and diet of pork may have caused it.

The cure starts with you.
The cure starts with you. Diseases might be conquered by examining the genome of various pathogens or cells and modifying them [Science]. To accomplish this, these modified cells when inside our body have to be bath in an environment that bugs or abnormal cells cannot thrive, an alkaline environment free from metals and other toxins and inflammation. Together with the alkaline system free from bugs and inflammation is our immune system working to ensure the balance of health is achieved. You is still the number one health care provider of your own health. Remember that. The cure starts with you and your body.

Stress kiling your body cells
I was just reading about 7-day detox by Peter Bennett and Stephen Barrie and will soon summarize and share the tips to all.
Here are some of the health tips:
– when sick, fasting or eating only a little, can help our liver detox
– sauna therapy allows toxins to be released thru our skin
– protein is needed by the liver during detox
– lead, mercury and other metal toxicities can cause Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinsons
– our skin color, eyes, nails can show signs of toxicity in our cells
– our cells can fight toxins in the presence of alkaline system, stressfree lifestyle (as the mind can poison our cells to age prematurely), Vit C, glutathione, Vit E and other anti-oxidants
More Tips on Alternatives to addicting drugs to relieve some minor symptoms of allergies, migraine and other effects of stress (with your doctor’s knowledge):
Migraines exacerbated by stress.
Stress causes inflammation and scars our tissues.
Mind and emotion can work together to tell our body to be stress free, avoid or leave a stressful situation.
Magnesium dietary supplement is relaxing.
The first step is detox since the body is loaded with stress killing cortisol hormones in excess becomes cancer or other disease.
Take fresh squeeze juice of beets, spinach, carrots, parsely, and other greens. Fast, up Vit C intake and avoid red meat for a week.
Try the powder brown rice protein for your liquid fast even for a day.

The shape of the plant/fruit/seed and the target organs in our body
The shape of the plant/fruit/seed determines the organs in our body that receive the most health benefits.
Such examples include: walnut for our brain, brazil nuts for prostate and pears for reproductive organs. Pine nuts for small organs responsible for sex hormones and the list goes on.
When it comes to some green plants, the bitter melon brings energy to most of our organs (brain, liver, kidney and others) and blood circulation. The inside of the fruit are small compartments for seeds while the outside skin is akin to our brain with waves. The leaves are heart-shaped. The male and female flowers are bright yellow. Do remember that sulfur-rich foods or yellow-colored foods and white, are cleansing to our bodies.

The following details about the bitter melon are taken from http://www.medicalhealthguide.com
Bitter Melon for Diabetes Treatment . Clinical Studies for Bitter melon demonstrated hypoglycemic properties (blood sugar lowering) or other actions of potential benefit against diabetes mellitus. The hypoglycemic chemicals found in Bitter include a mixture of steroidal saponins known as charantins, insulin-like peptides, and alkaloids. The hypoglycemic effect is more pronounced in the fruit of bitter melon where these chemicals are in greater abundance. Bitter melon fruit has also shown the ability to enhance cells’ uptake of glucose, to promote insulin release, and potentiate the effect of insulin. In other in vivo studies, bitter melon fruit and/or seed has been shown to reduce total cholesterol and triglycerides in both the presence and absence of dietary cholesterol. In one study, elevated cholesterol and triglyceride levels in diabetic rats were returned to normal after 10 weeks of treatment
Bitter melon for Hemorrhoids Treatment. Powdered leaves and root decoction of Bitter melon are applied to hemorrhoids as astringent.
Bitter melon used to treat Stomach Problems. Bitter melon leaf juice is used to expel intestinal parasites, treat dysentery, diarrhea, and chronic colitis. Grounded bitter melon seeds may also be used. Taken in a spoonfull 3x a day until ailment subsides.
Bitter melon used to treat Cough. Bitter melon leaf juice is used for mild coughs for children. Administered in a teaspoon 3x a day.
Bitter melon for Burns, Scalds and Wounds. Pounded Bitter melon seeds or leaf are used to treat burns, scalds and wounds.
Bitter melon has Anti-Cancer properties , Two compounds extracted from Bitter melon, α-eleostearic acid (from Bitter melon seeds) and dihydroxy-α-eleostearic acid (from the Bitter melon fruit) have been found to induce apoptosis of leukemia cells in vitro. Diets containing 0.01% Bitter melon oil (0.006% as α-eleostearic acid) were found to prevent azoxymethane-induced colon carcinogenesis in rats.
Other acclaimed uses are for the treatment of HIV, treatment of fever and headaches, treatment of rheumatism and gout, disease of the spleen and liver.
Side Effects : In large dozes, pure Bitter melon juice can be a purgative and may cause pregnancy abortion.
Fresh Green juices , plant enery to body energy
My brother Eric had a heart attack, 3x in the Philippines where you buy your own medicine though some of the hospitals are free.
I was at Whole foods yesterday consuming fresh green juice of beets, carrots, parsley, celery and spinach to bring energy to all my cells.
Our cells copy the energy and cells of the plants for growth. Cancer cells do not thrive in a body that is alkaline, energy coming from the plants and other energy producing healing ways such as deep breathing, less stress, more sleep, hydration and less toxic environment free from inflammation and excitotoxins.
Inflammation and excitotoxins are believed to contribute to many diseases such as Alzheimer’s Disease of the brain and heart problems.
My dad’s lung cancer is a combination of these two. It was at a late stage when found out. In a study about early lung cancer stage, Vitamin C and amino acid Lycine has protective effect.

Here is another blog on green juice:
Wheatgrass and other green juices are a wonderful way to enhance your health. Here’s a few benefits of wheatgrass:
- Blood builder and cleanser. Chlorophyll is very similar in molecular structure to hemoglobin. Chlorophyll is the “blood” of plants. Green juice is very rich in chlorophyll. Drinking green juices enhances our hemoglobin levels, an increase in red blood cells means better circulation and oxygenation to the cells and rapid body cleansing.
- Chlorophyll serves to protect us from the pollution in air, water and all sorts of toxins in our environment by strengthening the cells, detoxifying the liver and bloodstream and chemically neutralizing the polluting elements themselves.
- Detoxifies and builds up the liver
- Packed with live enzymes. Enzymes are catalysts (substances that affect the chemical reactions but are not changed by them). Every action in your body requires thousand of enzymes. Note that enzymes are destroyed by cooking (heat) so it is imperative that green juices be consumed immediately after processing to juice. It is best to grow wheatgrass in your home and harvest right before juicing.
- Contains amino acids and bioflavonoids that help cleanse the blood and detoxify cells.
- Boosts the immune system.
The above are only a few benefits of wheatgrass juices. For a more comprehensive scope of benefits read, The Wheatgrass Book by Ann Wigmore. Ann is probably the person most responsible for the discovery of the health benefits of wheatgrass. She has several health clinics around the US which specializes in renewed health through a raw food diet, sprouting and juicing.
Wheatgrass is very easy to grow in a tray, I used to grow several trays in my kitchen window. Wheatgrass juicers come in manual (old fashioned crank style) or electric, I use my Omega juicer that can handle both vegie and green juices. A Champion juicer does not juice wheatgrass.
Here in the Philippines, I have substituted ampalaya (bitter melon) and malunggay leaves for wheatgrass. Although I don’t have any official comparative analysis of ampalaya/malunggay vs wheatgrass, these 2 vegetables are known blood builders and cleansers in the local community. I used to grow wheatgrass here but bringing organic wheat berries from the US (organic wheat is not readily available here) got a little tedious after a while. Plus I’m a big believer of the benefits of local, endemic produce so I have been juicing ampalaya/malunggay for a couple of years. I can say from experience that I get that same hair raising sensation when I take ampalaya/malunggay combo that I do when I drink wheatgrass. If you’ve tried wheatgrass, you’ll know what I mean 🙂
I have been struggling with a bad cough, cold and flu like symptoms the past few days. I got careless earlier in the week and got drenched by the rain. Sometimes, I forget that my immune system is not quite up to par. I had a Vit. C infusion yesterday and started taking homeopathic remedies. I also do a castor oil pack (with eucalyptus, lavender & tea tree oils) on my chest area, and a combination of tea tree & thyme oils on a base of EV coconut oil as a rub on my back and throat area. I gargle with tea tree oil, do an inhalation with eucalyptus and have lavender or lemon on my room diffuser. Yea, I LOVE essential oils, they are so powerful and pleasant to use!.

Diet before and after a heart attack
The heart and brain are affected by inflammation and exitotoxins from diet, lifestyle, and environment.
Eating fatty and processed/unhealthy food laden with chemicals clogged our body and weakens our cells to inflammation.
The focus of our diet should be whole foods, with raw and cooked foods in the following proportion: 20% carbohydrate, 50% protein, 30% fat
1. Add ginger and lemon in your warm drinking water, to clean the blood, to help in maintaining alkalinity to your body for in this state toxins and cancer-causing substances cannot flourish.
Drink 30 min before and 30 min after eating your meal to let the acids in your stomach break down the food.
2. Coconut (has anti-parasitic properties) is one of the brain food and so are fish, flax seed and omega-3 oils. Stop frying foods especially reusing old oils in our kitchen.
Alzheimer’s disease can be slowed down with diet rich in coconut oil.
3. Avoiding alcohol especially to those who just had a heart attack will also take care of our kidneys and liver and help our body detox or cleanse.
4. Cleansing foods include all colored ones, sulfur-containing foods like garlic, onions, squash and carrots which allow our liver to function properly by expelling toxins from our body.
5. Zinc as dietary supplement and in whole foods (spinach, blueberry, turmeric herb, ginger, mushrooms) also facilitate cleansing and detox.
6. When eating meat, eat pineapple and papaya 30 min before or after for the powerful enzymes that help break down our food.
7. Consume food rich in Arginine and Histamine, two essential amino acids that help break down the bad cholesterol in our body.
8. Cleansing deep breaths and sleep will help our body heal itself.
9. Let your doctor examine the heart meds that is not working for your body and replace it with other heart meds. Know the early signs of poor heart health from your weight, breathing, sleep habits, stress load and others (colors of your skin, eye health).

About Arginine and Histamine, essential amino acids to help break down the bad cholesterol in our body:
Arginine is mainly found in foods like dairy products, meat, poultry and fish. However, arginine is also found in carob, chocolate, coconut, oats, nuts, wheat, and wheat germ. If you eat a whole-wheat carrot/raisin/nut muffin with a glass of milk, you will have consumed a healthy amount of arginine.
Histidine, similar to other amino acids, is found primarily in high-protein foods. Meat, poultry, fish, dairy and some grain products including rice, wheat and rye are therefore histidine-containing foods. Yellowfin tuna, mackerel, sardines, skipjack and anchovies are excellent sources of histidine. Other histidine-rich foods include soybean tofu, chicken, beans, eggs, buckwheat, corn, cauliflower, mushrooms, potatoes, bamboo shoots, bananas, cantaloupe and citrus fruits.
Stroke, know early signs and do avoid inflammatory toxins
Stroke is clogging of brain blood vessels from clot or blood as a result of the destroyed vascular tissues from inflammations over long period of time caused by toxins that were not cleaned by our body. This is 80% of the stroke, ischemic/cerebral infarction. The other 20% is intracerebral Heamorrhage.
Sudden disruption of blood supply to the brain
Transient lodging of a blood clot blocking the vascular vessel of the brain
Rest, relaxation, rhythm of the heart natural pumping is not normal
Oxygen deprivation in the body cells, a prelude to stroke, brain cell lack of oxygen
K, Vit K working hard in blood clotting because of the presence of inflammation/stress, broken vascular walls or tissues invaded by toxins
Energy, life, growth giving elasticity to vessel walls, viscosity to blood, strength to the heart muscles, healthy and clean blood, all body organs working to clear the body of toxins.
Healing ways….
Restore Health with our healthy body cleaning out toxins and reduce inflammation by strengthening our immune system
Nourishing our blood vessels with essential nutrients (red, yellow, green veggies/fruits), not feeding our cancerous cells with sugar and other toxins.
Note: Get Physical/Medical Yearly Exam for prevention. Let’s assume that we have an inherent make up/genes of easily bruised by toxins because our genes are working too hard to clean our body as we rush to live each day. So to prevent further damage in the future, we go to have medical check-up to check our baseline health.
Elimination of toxins with fiber since fiber encapsulates the fat and sugar out of our body.
Absorption of essential nutrients from lifestyle/environment, body functions and food.
Living with low blood pressure, no diabetes, no inflammation, strong immune system, strong support group
Taking a walk or getting the needed activity to take in more oxygen
Having the time to breath and live life according to its natural rhythm with balance to get the endurance to live long with toxin-free body.
Before ischemia/cell death or paralysis: there is migraine, temporary loss of memory or orientation and balance, slow motor functions and reflexes, poor circulation and brain/body cell oxygen starvation.

Headache/Migraine, a spasm constricting arteries supplying blood to the brain
Stress or inflammatory response triggers the nervous system to respond by causing a spasm of the nerve-rich arteries at the base of the brain which closes down or constricts several arteries supplying blood to the brain (scalp and carotid/neck arteries)
The brain respond by dilating its arteries to meet its energy needs but also triggers a release of pain-causing chemicals. Reduced blood flow decreases the brain’s supply of oxygen and blood clotting particles called platelets clump together, releasing serotonin – a powerful constrictor of arteries.
Headaches are diagnosed as: vascular, muscle contraction/tension, traction and inflammatory headacheds (symptoms of other disease, ranging from stroke to sinus infection, eye problems and others).
The abnormal ballooning of a blood vessel is called aneurysm and a CT scan is used to examine for blood and then an angiogram.
Fatigue, lack of nutrients from food, glaring or flickering lights from TV, computer or other sources, changes in weather, chemicals in the home, lack of fresh air in closed rooms, certain foods can set off migraine.
Biofeedback and relaxation training, stress reduction, elimination of certain foods from the diet and drug therapy are the most common methods of preventing and controlling migraine and other vascular headaches.
Headaches caused by low blood sugar is treated with scheduled smaller and more frequent meals.
Repeated exposure to toxic chemicals such as nitrites, MSG, insecticides, common household cleaners, lead, carbon tetrachloride may develop headaches. Drugs such as amphetamines, alcohol hangover, caffeine in large quantities (can be a cure in small amount) can cause headaches.
Studies of patients with cluster headaches lasting between 30 and 45 minutes show that they are likely to have hazel eyes and tend to be heavy smokers and drinkers. A reduced blood flow above the eyes is shown in thermograms of untreated cluster patients.
Chronic muscle-contraction headache feels like the head and neck are in a cast. Research has shown that for many people, it is caused by depression and anxiety. Prolong writing under poor light, degenerative arthritis or neck and temporomandibular joint dysfunction (from poor bite and jaw clenching). People who suffer from infrequent muscle-contraction headaches may benefit from a hot shower, moist heat applied to the back of neck, massage, good posture, gentle exercise of neck and physical therapy.
Older adults who experience sudden or unexpected severe headaches, tenderness of scalp, muscle aches, fatigue, fever, unexplained weight loss, jaw pain when eating or visual disturbances may be suffering from temporal arteritis, TA. TA is an immune disorder characterized by inflammation in the arteries of the head, neck and aortic arch leading to blindness and occasionally to a stroke, heart attack or aortic dissection (tear in aorta).
Seek treatment early with your doctor and use some preventive measures such as whole foods rich in calcium and magnesium (relaxes the nerves), water, Vitamin C, good fat (avocado and fish) and leafy greens.

Gut check and mental stress
Gut check
Your gastrointestinal tract is a favorite topic of Dr Oz. The gut is our second brain and where 95% of serotonin is stored, for well being in the brain and as shield and sword in the gut. The bowel going wrong is causing mental stress. All the cleansing ways include lemon, probiotics, garlic, fiber, water, colorful whole foods, warm foods and just a healthy mind-body overall. Can you pacify your stomach with your mind, by resting and with happy thoughts? Once, my coworker was food poisoned and so I told him to place hot water bottle on top of his stomach and to lie down to calm it.

Aspirin may not be that harmless but for many there are healthy ways
For years, the advice for preventing heart has been simple: take an aspirin every day; it can’t hurt. But new research suggests that patients taking the pills and doctors prescribing them may need to think twice about that advice.
The study, published today in the Journal of the American Medical Association, found that taking 300 milligrams or less of aspirin increases the risk of major stomach or brain bleeding by 55 percent, greater than previous research has suggested.
Italian researchers studied more than 370,000 hospitalized patients, looking for differences in how aspirin affects patients with diabetes and those without. But their findings apply to millions of people hoping to prevent heart problems with aspirin.
Of the more than 186,000 participants taking a daily dose of aspirin, researchers counted nearly 2,300 cases of gastrointestinal bleeding and nearly 1,300 cases of brain bleeding.
Dr. Antonio Nicolucci, one of the study’s authors, said the results show that the risks of bleeding are much higher than what doctors had previously suspected after several clinical trials and should prompt doctors to carefully consider a patient’s individual health before prescribing aspirin.
“If the risk of having a cardiovascular event is low, then the risk of bleeding will likely offset any beneficial effect of aspirin,” he said.
Michelle Obama, Disney on Cutting Junk Food
But many say the study highlights the issue of calculating risks and benefits of any medical treatment, even one as seemingly harmless as taking an aspirin a day.”No preventive approach is without risk,” said Dr. Thomas Schwenk, Dean of the University of Nevada School of Medicine. “If the benefits are barely measurable but the risks are real and possibly greater, then the decision making may shift against the use of aspirin.”
For people with a history of heart attacks or stroke, doctors agree that taking aspirin is a key part of preventing a second problem. The American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association and the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force all recommend a daily, low dose of aspirin for people who are at a 20 percent increased risk of heart problems. The benefits of preventing a second heart attack outweigh the risks of bleeding for most people.
In an editorial about the study, Dr. Jolanta Siller-Matula, of the Medical University of Vienna, put the numbers this way: for a group of 10,000 patients taking aspirin to prevent a second heart attack or stroke, data suggest the pill would prevent about 250 heart problems but would cause about 40 cases of brain bleeding.
“Thus the net benefit of aspirin for secondary prevention would substantially exceed the bleeding hazard,” she wrote.
But the issue gets murkier for those at a lower risk of heart disease, such as people who have some risk factors but have never had a heart attack. Siller-Matula wrote that for 10,000 of those patients, aspirin would be expected to prevent seven heart attacks or strokes, but cause problems in another four patients.
“When the cardiovascular risk is low, the adverse effects of aspirin overwhelm any benefit,” said Dr. Steve Nissen, chair of cardiovascular medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. “Unfortunately, many patients taking aspirin represent the ‘worried well’ rather than individuals with a high risk of coronary artery disease.”

Notes: Most drugs are acidic to our body. Heart disease is related to kidney, lungs, liver and inflammation. New studies revealed that support and love is more potent than medicine, detox with 1 day fasting to clean our system and to maintain whole foods diet are key to living healthy. Oxygenation of our cells thru whole body exercise, fresh air, and even bariatic/oxygen therapy can help in our fight of getting rid of toxins in our body since heart disease is related to some toxic chemicals. Many of us forgot to drink alkaline water or consumed healthy salt free soup on a daily basis.
